Petter Birkedal becomes a new board member at WindSpider

We would like to share that our board member, Torstein Øygarden, will now be stepping down to a Board Deputy position. We want to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude for several years of fruitful cooperation that helped WindSpider get to where we are today.

At the same time, we are pleased to share that Petter Birkeland will be strengthening our board and taking Torstein’s place, after accepting the position as a Board Member in February earlier this year. With Petter’s extensive experience in establishing new companies and developing technology, we are confident that he will be an excellent addition to our team and contribute to WindSpider’s further successes. We want to welcome him on board and look forward to working together towards achieving our goals and helping the wind industry become the driving force towards the energy transition!

About Petter Birkeland

Besides being the founder and owner of Control Cutter – a technology company supplying decommissioning services for the O&G industry, Petter has played a key role in developing other companies, such as JP Kenny and Wood Group Production Technology, acting as Managing Director in both of them. Petter has solid background from the oil industry and has a BEng degree from the University of Bergen.
